Search Your Favorite Sites From A Single Location
Permenant Link To: Search Your Favorite Sites From A Single Location
Here's the quandary (and a solution):
You have a number of sites you visit regularly - your favorite sites. These sites have a lot of great content that you regularly enjoy.
Obviously, they meet the needs of what you're interested in.
What happens, though, when you go searching for something online. You probably go to your favorite search engine and you search the entire Web...
Sometimes an overall Web search is needed, but if you're looking for information/content related to dog health, and some of your favorite sites are related to dogs, don't you think you would get better results by searching those sites only?
Absolutely!
This hasn't always been easy to do this - search all your favorite sites - until now!
I've added a new page/tool to www.whonu.com that allows you to easily add all your favorite sites, and confine your search efforts to any one of those sites.
Before giving you a link to begin using it yourself, here are some ideas.
- Into digital photography? - Add all your favorite digital photography sites, that way when you're looking a particular photo tip, you can search those sites only.
- Like eating? - Include some recipe sites, then when you're looking for recipes, you can search all your favorite recipe sites from a single location.
That's just a couple ideas. Add your favorite sites for various interests: news, entertainment, hobbies, forums, and so on.
Search them all from one spot!
Alright, now that you know how it works, time to start using it. Here's a search and a site recommendation to get you started:
