Extract Thoughts From Blogs - Know What People Are Thinking?

What would it be worth to you to be able to enter a keyword, phrase, brand name, product name, or person, and instantly receive aggregated results that showed you what people were saying about it online?

For example, if you were about to buy a new car (like I am), you might enter Mazda 6 and see results such as:

  • is a beautiful car
  • is the best purchase I ever made
  • is fun to drive

These would represent a list of the most popular 'extracted thoughts' found online about the item you're researching. In other words, 'is a beautiful car' isn't just a random thought by a single individual out there somewhere, but it actually represents the most common thought found online (on blogs) related to that item.

Isn't that powerful?!?!

Without having to spend hours surfing the Web, manually trying to find, read and correlate the thoughts expressed in hundreds or thousands of reviews, comments, and feedback, you can have instant access to this information with the click of a button.

Consider this scenario. Perhaps you have a product you sell, and you want to know the most common feedback people have about it. You could type in your product's name, and maybe see results such as:

  • is difficult to use
  • is much more expensive than Product B
  • could be improved by allowing me to ...

Do you think that kind of information would be valuable to you? Do you think it would help in refining the product, as well as its pricing?

The site provides more information, and some real-world examples.

It is currently a beta product, and may end up costing $$ when released, I'm not sure. I couldn't find that information myself.

I am happy to provide this commenting feature to enable discussion of the articles posted. In fact, I appreciate and encourage you to participate.

Like everything else I put my name on, I hold this site to a very high standard. What you say in your comments reflect indirectly on me. Therefore, please be aware of the following guidelines/rules for posting your thoughts.

Foul and offensive language is not only moronic and childish, but any posts containing it WILL be deleted!
Play Nice.
Posts containing personal attacks of any kind will be deleted. If you disagree with someone's opinion, provide an opposing one, without attacking the person. For example, "Derek, your stance on eating doughnuts will harm future generations." Not, "Derek, you're an idiot, and your stance on eating doughnuts is the dumbest thing I've ever heard..."
Religion and Politics .
Once again, since this site carries my name, posts containing religious and/or political views (nice or not) will be deleted.
Stay on Topic - Where Possible.
I know it's easy to get off on another tangent, and it's not really that big of a deal, but try to confine your comments to the discussion at hand. :)
